Couldn't be happier with the service we got from Circle City Lock and Key. We bought a new (to us) home near Pittsboro and wanted to have it all re-keyed and some new locks installed. We picked an appointment time (got it quicker than I expected!) and Brett was here right on time. He took good care of the existing hardware and doors and left no trace except a job well done. He didn't disturb me as I worked at home. He explained the new lock system so we know how to manage it. Circle City will be my first call for a locksmith.

I've seldom had an experience with a tradesman or contractor as good as the one I had with Bret of Circle City Lock and Key. I had a Bret re-key a Carrboro condo my spouse and I just bought, and the whole experience went even more smoothly than I expected it would. Bret showed up on time and replaced four lock cylinders and made three keys in a hour. He probably would've finished even faster had I not chatted with him while he worked. He was also easy to reach by email--that's how we set everything up--and his price was so reasonable that I added $20 to the bill. And, no, I didn't know Bret before, nor do I have any financial reason to say nice things about him--working with him really was just a good all-around experience. As is probably obvious, I'd definitely recommend Circle City.
